What is WEngineer?
WEngineer is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching STEM principles to middle-school aged students.
Who were the creator of WEngineer?
WEngineer was created three years ago by three Mount Hebron High School Students to address a gap in the education of middle school students in engineering. To learn more, check out the "About Us" page.
Why was WEngineer created?
Our three founders wanted to see what engineering was all about but found it hard to find opportunities aimed to their middle school selves, especially during the school year. After completing Project Lead the Way: Engineering courses in civil, electrical, and computer engineering as well as 3D modeling, they began to creating the WEngineer curriculum to address this issue.
How to get involved:
WEngineer holds multiple engineering sessions during the school year that meet once a week and runs week long summer camps that cover a varitey of engineering topics. To find more information, check out our current programs and the "About our Program" page.
