Power Pioneers Week 3

This week's schedule may have been shorter than usual, comprising only a single lesson, but nonetheless was a blast. The focus of the lesson was on the exploration of various types of power, specifically delving into mechanical power and hydraulic power.

Each group of students was provided with a small interactive pneumatic example. This hands-on activity provided an opportunity to experiment and observe the principles of pneumatics firsthand. The students explored the principals behind the various types of power, fostering a stronger grasp of the concepts being taught.

However, the excitement didn't end there. Following the interactive session, we took the learning experience outdoors and engaged in a tried and true WEngineer favorite: Bottle Rockets. This thrilling activity incorporated elements of hydraulic power, as the rockets utilized water pressure to achieve impressive heights.

Overall, despite the brevity of the week, it was undeniably an extraordinary one, packed with an engaging lesson and hands-on activities that left a lasting impression on the students.
