WEhicular Motion Final Recap!

After six wonderful sessions, the WEngineer WEhicular Motion academy has concluded!

Over the past four weeks, we spent a lot of time together learning about the ins and outs of humanity’s transportation systems. We began with the magic of flight and learned about drag and lift, and then proceeded to build our own airplanes! Next, we explored trains and magnetic levitation, which can potentially define ground transportation for decades to come. During the last two sessions, we learned how cars function and how they are able to transport millions of people every day. Throughout our entire journey, students collaborated in teams, coalescing their creativity into thoughtfully designed projects (with a hint of competitive spirit!).

Congratulations to the Attack Seagulls and Butterflies for winning our academy-long competition! Nonetheless, we cannot disregard how admirably every single team performed these last few weeks: from winning challenges to helping peers through difficulty, each and every student put forth great effort and exhibited growth throughout our six days together.

Every single one of us loved working with the students and hope to see them again in the future!
